Privacy policy

The site is built so you never need to enter student-identifying information. Do not type names, birth dates, ID numbers, or other details that identify a student.

Data we collect

• Email address, if you sign in with a magic link, and the time the account was created.
• Subscription status, plan, period end, and Stripe customer identifiers.
• A salted hash of your IP address, used only to count free drafts. Hashes are deleted after 48 hours.
• Aggregate event counts such as "a goal was copied on the math page." Events do not include what you typed.

Data we do not collect

Drafts you type into the goal customizer, and the goals the model returns, are not written to the database and are not written to application logs. Logs store the time, the skill area, and whether the request succeeded. The request to the model includes the area, grade band, and the present level you typed. It does not include your email address or account id.

AI provider

Drafts are generated with Alibaba Cloud Qwen through an international endpoint. The provider and the region are set by the account the site owner connects. Whether that provider trains on API inputs is governed by the owner's Qwen agreement. This policy will be updated when the owner supplies that clause. Until then, assume you should not submit identifying details.

Payments

Stripe processes card payments. The site stores Stripe customer and subscription ids, not full card numbers.

Deleting an account

Email corrections@iepgoalbank.org from the account address and ask for deletion. The email, subscription row, and purchase row are removed. Stripe may retain billing records it is required to keep.
